Cold Cuts

Cuts has run Lucia's Deli on the same strip of Vice City asphalt longer than anyone can remember, including Cuts. He cuts every slab himself at the block in the back, expects perfection from the front counter, and enjoys giving Kevin a hard time a little too much.

Kevin "Stilts"

Kevin is polite, fast and correct, and Cuts is still mad about it. He takes every order and builds every sandwich. He is also scared enough of his boss that his stomach files a complaint several times a shift, usually with a line out the door.

  • Says"I'm back! Who's next?"

The regulars

The people at the counter. You'll see them in line, at the tables by the window, and occasionally in a bad mood.

Florida ManExtra pickles on everything. Has never been told no successfully.
Tourist TinaFirst time in Leonida. Fifth time asking if the line can move faster.
Don RamónKnows exactly how a Cuban should taste. Has notes.
DaniLocal. Comes in daily. Rolls her eyes at both of them, lovingly.
TylerHas watched every trailer frame by frame. Eats by the OPEN sign.
Big MikeThe lunch rush in one person. Two Swamp Subs, no small talk.
World building

Welcome to Leonida. The other one.

There are two Leonidas. Same sun, same swamps, same strip mall on the edge of Vice City. One is the Leonida in the game. The other is where Lucia's Deli has been open the whole time. They sit on top of each other, and things leak through.

  1. It happens here too.Whatever goes down in the game goes down on this side as well. A heist over there is a real heist down the street, and somebody comes in for a sandwich afterward.
  2. Nobody finds it weird.Locals call it the Overlap. Cuts calls it Tuesday.
  3. Cuts reports it as news. When Cuts reviews something from the game, he isn't reviewing a game. He saw it from the parking lot.
  4. The deli was here first.Cuts is very clear on this. He says Rockstar called to ask about the name.
